What are some other themes that can be taken from Oedipus the King????? Besides fate, power, etc...?

Our prof wants us to come up with something new. A different approach. I'm stuck!! I can't think of anything good. Any ideas??? We have to refer to the literature and or sophocles and his time etc to make it an arguable statement.
