Serious question to christians...?

If god has a divine plan for everybody, does he plan for babies to get aborted? So the Doctor and mother are blame less. If a serial killer kills a bunch of people is it gods plan, and if so shouldnt we praise the killer for doing gods work? And why do you pray? god has already decided your faith beforehand? If you have cancer theres no reason to pray because god already decided when your gonna die. because he already knows your going to pray so why would that change the outcome

Suspending my license?

First off, I will say that I am willing to accept responsibility for some poor decisions I made. But I got a letter today summoning me for a hearing in which my license may get suspended. The rundown: 2 speeding tickets, a reckless driving, and a "failure to stay in a single lane". The speeding tickets are totally my fault. The reckless driving ticket I got for a terrible accident I got in in which I swerved off the road to avoid hitting other drivers. I was praised by the other drivers and by the judge I faced in court for it for taking all the impact myself. The failure to stay in a single lane one, the cop thought I was drunk and when he found I wasnt, he gave me this ticket which I thought was a bit unfair because I wasnt drunk and he was quite unpleasant about it. He even said "I think your drunk, but I'm gonna let you go with this.".......So by his account he essentially let me back on the highway when I was "drunk". Anyway...I have a few questions. 1, is there anyway I can keep my license considering the circumstances with my wreck and the swerving incidents? 2, how long do they typically suspend your license for? And 3, I recently turned 21 a month after my last speeding ticket....does this effect my point standing? I have heard it "resets" after a certain age but Im not sure on it. I live in Colorado if that means anything. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. And please no rude responses.

Why does my 7 year old say she hates herself?

My 7 year old daughter frequently says she hates herself and also says she doesn't care if she dies. She is a single child and is with me (and my fiance) during the week and with her dad and step-mom on the weekends. I feel she gets plenty of attention from everyone no matter whom she is with so I don't think she is saying this for attention. I am worried this could be early signs of depression. Her teacher this past year did notice she has a low self-esteem and I have been trying to praise her more often. It's almost like she does things she knows she shouldn't do (like toss the cat or throw toys in the house) but then says she is 'so very sorry' and is extremely hard on herself after wards. She has even put herself in time out a number of times over little things.... we don't even use time out at my house. She is a very emotional child (always has been) and I have tried sitting down and asking her if something is bothering her when she gets upset but she always says she doesn't know. Any advice on how to handle this? I have already talked to her pediatrician but that didn't get my anywhere. She has been seeing a counselor (monthly) since December but it doesn't seem to be helping much

I'm useless and my moms upset with me..?

I am anorexic and I have depression and an anxiety disorder. I've been going to therapy, seeing doctors, and overall, I'm really resource and time consuming. My dads been out of town for two weeks and I have a 13 and a 3 year old brothers so I'm tryin to help out around the house by cleaning, cooking, and doing other chores. My 13 year old brother watches my 3 year old brother and gets lots of thanks and praise. When I help, I get thanks but I just feel unappreciated and really guilty all the time. I try to relieve my moms stress but I'm not good enough. I tried talking to my mom about how I feel and she said 90% of her time and resources go into me and she's overwhelmed by me and says I'm mentally distorted. She says that the things I do to "help" are just things that should come natural when you're a part of a family and that I should do those things automatically. She says that she never knows what she's gonna get when she talks to me cuz I might be angry or moody and she feels like she never says anything right to me because I'm so sensitive. For the last 2 hours I've been crying so much and I feel so useless and guilty I want to die.. I'm never going to be good enough and helpful because I'm so high maintaince and difficult to my mom. I am only seventeen but I have a cousin who can act like your daughter sometimes and it is hard to take care of her sometimes. What I do to my cousin is I talk to her in a stern voice and make eye contact. The eye contact is the key it shows authority don't force her to look at you just say her name until she looks at you even if it takes about a hundred times before she does. I am one of the only one my cousin listens to and I never lay a hand on her, yell at her, etc. Don't spank your child because physical abuse like that doesn't help much you just have to have patience. Personally I think that to a certain extent he identified with his character. Authors usually do. In Oedipus at Colonus, one of his last plays, Oedipus is an old man, betrayed by his sons, who reaches the city of Athens haunted by his past. His two daughters are his aids and the citizens of Athens agree to offer him shelter. When Sophokles wrote that tragedy, he was old. Athens had lost the civil war, and a new regime had been established. Sophokles in all his previous plays referred to the glory of the city. Iophon, his son, had tried to prove that Sophokles was senile in front of a court. Of course Sophokles won the trial but he was too old, disheartened and tired. His vision of his beloved city was that of a sanctuary for an old and once respected man. I suggest to read the play and a biography of Sophokles for more comparisons.

you dont need a psychologist you both need a marriage counselor. The psy.is taking sides. Get him out of there quick. And the both of you see counselor. They are very nice and can see problems that the both of you cannot. Just be up front and tell him all your problems and worries .and he will find you a solution!

Once upon a time in a small tightly packed village, there lived a fairly young brown haired lemur. He had been cut out of his pack as his looks were too abnormal for his tribe to handle. This Lemur was called Harry and had a long thick beetle like nose with furry eyes with a black like fur bib over his tummy. So far you may be thinking "he seems like a pretty normal lemur to me" however it wasn't this that made his stand out. It was his personality. Looks can mean a simple term as appearance but also can mean his "looks" to other leamers; eg not taking to him. Harry lived in his lemur made cabin with dark wooden chairs and his best possession were his musical instruments. He would sit there for hours everyday playing his piano or belting out lemur 80's hits while eating cucumber at the same time. As much as he praised and treasured there instruments, he knew there was something miss in his long pointless life. Crystal clear tears ran down his smooth fur, making a sweet squeaky sound of upset. Insects, Hedgehogs and even wild cats were aware of this sound but not any lemers which he deep down knew he missed. There was one he particularly missed; her name was Hoops, spaghetti hoops, She had affectionate curls dangling from her head with naturally shinny deep blue eyes, but it wasnt her "looks" which made Harry weep deeper onto his rug, it was her kindness, friendliness her and he acceptance and even extra emotion for Harry. They had met at their local animal information group. Harry walked in not thinking of anything but his next musical project to work on. He walked past groups of teen lemurs demonstrating steetdancing and applying lipstick at top speed. He glared at them and felt a little jealous as he had always fancied putting lipstick on...Maybe if I have dazzling lips they will be my "frr frriied friend" he said. I just graduated high school and am looking to buy a laptop, or possibly a tablet. I will obviously need it for college and would like for it to be fairly user-friendly. I've never had anything other than E-Machines and HP's, so I'm asking for some insight on some of the other brands out there. I can't let anyone get close to me how can I get better?

I am really insecure about letting people get close to me to the point where I am mean and immature. I force people to be repulsed by me and I act in ways that no one would ever want to be around me or be my friend, not even my pets or family. Crate Training 9wk old Puppy.?

My 9wk old mini dachshund puppy recently got introduced to the crate. She hated it when I first brought it to her attention, but I put a trail of treats into the crate and since then she has been going in on her own and laying down. I praise her and give her treats when she does go in and continually for a long period of time. She now goes in and the Vet told me to close to front to get her to like the crate. So today I did, she hasn't stopped whining and crying and chewing on the cage since I put her in there. I want to let her out so bad, first because she sounds horrible, and two because it seems so cruel. But she went in on her own terms I just closed the door. HELP WHAT DO I DO? Do I take her out or do I leave her in there and hopefully the whining and crying will subside? I don't want her to hate the crate because of all of this whining. I am in a difficult situation. I am a new graduate lucky enough to find a fantastic job in my industry. I am a young single female in a work environment dominated by older men. An opportunity arose where my supervisor wanted to promote me, which was met by others with accusations of him having a "personal relationship" with me due to the amount of praise directed at me. We have in-law problems. As a kid, my husband and siblings were emotionally and physically abused by their father, and by their mother, who allowed the abuse to occur. Everyone rushes to her defense.... and we (my husband and I) are the supposed perpetrators. We hurt her feelings. I, as daughter in law, do not call enough. I do not say the right things. I don't send the right cards. When we go see her, we don't stay long enough. She pulls every trick in the book to get us to stay longer. And yet they never come to visit us (we live in a different state). When our first child was born, I suggested they come the week after I got home from the hospital to give us a chance to settle in. My parents came to visit right away at the hospital (again, we live in a different state and only had room for one set of parents at a time). Since I was the one giving birth, I wanted MY MOM there to help me out in those first few days. Well, this made MIL angry. She played the victim, and instead of simply sucking it up and coming a week after baby was born, SHE DIDN'T COME AT ALL. With second child, same story. In fact, in the 5 years we have lived in this state, they visited twice. We see them only when we visit (around once a month). And yet this is all OUR FAULT. Husbands siblings are always picking fights. They post horrible things about me on facebook (calling me every name in the book). FIL randomly scolds my husband on facebook (which my husband uses for work purposes) and tries to make him look bad. They blame everything on ME and try to guilt my husband into turning against me. Finally, after one especially bad verbal AND physical argument my husband had with his sister's one holiday, I'd had enough. This was in front of our CHILDREN. I said--- NO MORE. We are through. Problems kept escalating to this point. Nothing ever resolved itself. I was always willing to at least be CIVIL, but they never were. They wanted to be in control of everything. They wanted to use guilt manipulation to get my husband and I to do their bidding. Nothing would make them happier than if we were to divorce. I feel like for family preservation purposes, we had to cut them off! Yet I know my husband loves his parents, flaws and all. And I respect that, and I appreciate that he is a kind enough person to be able to feel that way. But I can't have them in our lives and I can't have them in our children's lives, and he agrees. But I worry one day, when his parents die or fall ill, he will secretly blame be for his estrangement. As it is, his siblings would never even allow him to come to his parents' funerals-- I assure you. They would probably phsyically attack him. The siblings are all hangers-on, dependent on his parents for everything. None of them have spouses. My husband is the only one who was able to get away from this family and live an independent, successful life of his own. What I need is confirmation that this is OK. Ok first off the pup was taken from mom and litter mates to early. That is the first thing working against you. You are going to have biting because normally if the pup stayed with the litter and he bit his litter mates to hard the pups would either bite back or yelp and stop playing. If he bit mom to hard she would put her mouth around his neck and pin him to the ground to tell him she has had enough. So you tapping the dog in the nose is not communicating that you mean enough. You are actually doing the opposite and enticing him to play. Dont tap or hitthe dog he is a puppy not human so it does not have the same meaning to him as it does to us. You should only give him a sharp no. As far as walking a.9 week old puppy he is way to young to umderstand heel. Right now he should just be getting used to walking on a leash period. The come command should only be used for fun right now and never scold him only praise him no matter what if he comes. If he did do something wrong use an entirely different word like get over here or something like that. The sit command at his age should be just that. It does not matter if he gets up the point is he sat and he gets rewarded. Dogs only know black and white. Always use hand signals for each command. Pups of that age should only be learning one command at a time and training sessions should be no longer than 15 minutes. Once he has sit down pat you can move to the next command. The next command should be stay to follow with others.

How do you potty train a dog that doesn't seem to get it?

I stand out there for 20-30 minutes sometimes and the dog doesn't get it. She goes and sniffs like she wants to and then doesn't do anything. She'll come inside and pee an hour later. She peed once outside and I praise her but she seemed afraid. I caught her a few times going in the house and interrupted her and took her out and she refused to go. Brought her back in and she waited a while and went again. I'm trying to take her out and then if she doesn't go crate her for 10 minutes and then take her back out but nothing seems to be working really. Any suggestions. Okay, so i got another boxer puppy. He is my 3rd and he has been a bad experience so far. My 1st dog toook like a week to potty train and it was pretty easy.
