If Same-Sex Marriages Were Legalized Wouldn't That Promote Manipulation for Financial Reasons amongst Males?

I don't know if you guys seen Adam Sandler's "I Now Pronounced You Chuck & Larry" but this film brings up a good point about manipulation when it comes to same-sex marriages. Most heterosexual couples wouldn't marry basely for the financial benefits that marriage provides; there are some cases where some couples did manipulate the system but very few. With same-sex marriages it's probably going to increase this amount of manipulation due to the given if you use a bit of a law logic. I'm not trying to offend and I hope you people leave your liberal biases out of the answers you provide.
