Help with my ideas for a book? Please?

So I want to write a book about a person with superpowers but I want to make the origin of their powers realistic. I have an idea for some, but I can't find a reason for two powers-flight and electrekenesis (electricity manipulation.) Are there any ideas about how those two could possibly come about? Thanks!
